The Leadership and Organization Club is proud to present its annual Wine and Cheese Networking night.  It is a great opportunity to get in the swing of recruiting and practice your elevator pitch.  Join us and recruiters from 12 Southern California companies for a special evening of networking and recruiting.

Details

Hello Marshall students (full-time, IBEAR, and part-time):

This is Warren Lee, the GEO president. GEO stands for Global Executive Organization and we
are a student club at Marshall. I cordially invite you to our GEO's kickoff event on Tuesday
September 7th at 12:30 pm in JKP 301 D,E,F. So please mark your calendar. We will be
discussing the GEO's role at Marshall and you can also meet other like-minded students
interested in global business. We will talk about our future events and we will also serve
free lunch to all attendees at the kickoff event.

If you didn't make it to the BEA Kick Off Meeting on 9/1/10, we wanted to make sure you
receive the important dates for Entertainment & Media events for the coming month:

Sept 9: 2011 Entertainment & Media Vertical Meeting, 5pm)
Sept 20: Young Professional Panel - Entertainment, Technology & Media, 5pm
Sept 21: Entertainment Institute, Part I, 6:30PM
Sept 27: 2012 Entertainment & Media Vertical Meeting, 11AM
Sept 28/29: Entertainment Institute, Part II, 6:30PM

CLASS OF 2012/2013 - First Year Leadership Opportunities

If you are interested in working with the BEA this year, please send a letter of intent to
the club e-mail address (mba.bea.club@marshall.usc.edu) - and include the your full
name, core, and e-mail address, plus why you are interested in the position.

The available first year opportunities are:

AVP E2: Evolution of Entertainment Conference (4)

PANEL LEADERs (3): Last year the panels focused on Finance, Digital, & Marketing.
The topics will be finalized pending current member interest.

As a first year panel leader you will reach out to organize respective panels, reach
out to potential panelist, coordinate with confirmed participants, and oversee
operations at the event itself.

Marketing Lead (1): The marketing lead will help develop outreach and marketing
materials with the E2 leads, as well as the VP of Digital Marketing (Katie Green), and
the VP of Marketing (Brad Beal), the AVP Marketing.

All first year panel leaders will work directly with the E2 leads, Chris Ash and Nandi Witter.

AVP Spring Industry Night (2)
Spring Industry Night AVPs will be in charge of putting together and running the Spring
Industry Night event from alumni outreach to actual event management. AVPs will
work with VP of Digital Marketing (Katie Green), and the VP of Marketing (Brad Beal)
on all marketing materials, and will have the full support of the board.


AVP Marketing (1)
The AVP of Marketing will support both the VP of Digital Marketing (Katie Green), and
the VP of Marketing (Brad Beal) throughout the course of the year to promote all BEA
events, and club outreach (including social media & website management).

AVP PM Program (1)
The AVP PM will be the voice, eyes, & ears of the BEA for the entire PM program.
They will be responsible for promoting events and distributing information, as well
as acting as a representative for the PM students interests (industry, function, etc -
so that the club can make sure to cater to those needs).

AVP IBEAR Program (1)
The AVP IBEAR will be the voice, eyes, & ears of the BEA for the entire IBEAR program.
They will be responsible for promoting events and distributing information, as well as
acting as a representative for the IBEAR students interests (industry, function, etc -
so that the club can make sure to cater to those needs).

MarshallWear Volunteers for USC V. Virginia Tailgate on Sep 11

Support MarshallWear and its charities by volunteering to work the MarshallWear sales table. This is the first sales event of the year and promises to be an exciting first football game of the season. We will have the sale during the USC-Virginia tailgate on Sat, Sep 11, from 4:30 PM to 7:45 PM. Each shift lasts approximately one hour, and sign-ups are taken on a first come, first serve basis.

Entrance to the tailgate is also free if you sign up ($25 value).
